Focus on Hodge Hill

Some highlights of our work in Hodge Hill include:

Elham: Nasheed Training Programme

A training programme delivered through MusicLeader West Midlands in the wards of Washwood Heath and Bordesley Green, giving music leaders a foundation in the Islamic repertoire. The programme will be led by acclaimed Nasheed musician Amran Ellahi and will result in a an action research project by Robert Bunting as well as a resource pack for music leaders.

sound futures Youth Consultation

Working with community partners including Ward Support Officers, social enterprise groups, Area Youth Office and local figureheads to develop a user-led, music-based youth consultation. The programme aims to give young people the opportunity to voice their ideas about music and develop activity for other young people in their local community.
