Call for Youth Music Mentors Project Coordinator

Youth Music Mentors: Music Is Power

sound futures is seeking to recruit a dynamic and experienced freelance Project Coordinator to coordinate their delivery of Youth Music’s nationally funded music mentoring programme in Hodge Hill constituency, Birmingham.

Youth Music Mentors aims to improve the life chances of young people in challenging circumstances through music based mentoring.

The freelance Project Coordinator is responsible for coordinating a team of music mentors delivering work in multiple settings across the four wards of Hodge Hill constituency, Birmingham.

A highly motivated self-starter, the freelance Project Coordinator will be the first point of contact for music mentors and will liaise closely with host partners to ensure the smooth running of the weekly mentoring sessions.

The freelance Project Coordinator will also be expected to oversee the monitoring and evaluation requirements of the programme and will be responsible for ensuring mentors update the online reporting system in a timely manner.

Experience of project coordination in challenging settings, monitoring and evaluation and excellent interpersonal skills are all expected.
