New season project round-up

It's that time of year.....the cold wind may be whipping through the arts landscape at a rate of knots but the snap and crackle of new projects is keeping us warm..and busy!

So far this term my dhol playing skills have been put to the test by Dance Sansaar's Anil Banger at Hodge Hill all-girls Bhangra Club (apparently it helps if you hold the stick aka the "thili" the right way round..), I've had the very great pleasure of hearing the beginnings of our Cole Heath super-choir and have witnessed an inspiring (and eclectic!) jam session at The Pump that saw possibly the world's first MC/penny whistle collaboration!

However, undoubtedly the most delightful moment has been discovering the song "My name is Jo and I work in a Chocolate Factory" at Sladefield Infant School.... if only it were all true!
