"The work of the musicians was excellent. Children who rarely spoke suddenly began to blossom....the clubs have made a big difference to their lives" Liz Brown, Deputy Head Teacher, Firs Primary School
“It displayed a high level of concentration, listening and following instruction clearly and in a structured manner. Nice to hear good singing and a shy child enjoying herself perform without forgetting any of her movements for the performance.” Parent talking about sound futures performance led by Ann Jones at Sladefield Infant School

Performances - Back to back
Yesterday was a busy day for the children of Hodge Hill Primary and Firs Primary school!
They have both been working with sound futures and yesterday was their time to shine.
Hodge Hill Primary were giving an assembly to their retitring headteacher - Mrs Cadby. Some of the pupils had been working with Jonny (leader of the songwriters' club- a.k.a "Music Master") and had written several songs of their own! They sang in front of the whole school and then everybody joined in for the final song, singing farewell to Mrs Cadby.
About an hour later, Firs school had their performance! Around 60 children from the school had attended several sound futures music clubs in a variety of different genres including; Bhangra Dhol Drumming, World Music and Songwriting and were showcasing their talents. This was thanks to music leaders; Dance Sansaar, Jonny Amos, Rav Joshi, and Katy Bennett and all their hard work.
The day was then finished off nicely with a glass of lemonade from the Firs school Summer fair.
